After all that, are we done?

In the Fourth Article of Faith it says:  We believe that the first four principles and ordinances of the Gospel are, First, faith in the Lord Jesus Chris.  Second, repentance.  Third, baptism by immersion for the remission of sins.  Forth, laying on of hands for the gift of the Holy Ghost.

So, after all that, are we done?

In 2nd Nephi 31: 19-20 is says:  And now, my beloved brethren, after you have gotten into this straight and narrow path, I would ask if all is done?  Behold, I say unto you, nay; for you have not come thus far save it were by the word of Christ with unshaken faith in him, relying wholly upon the merits of Him who is mighty to save.  Wherefore, you must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men.  Wherefore, if you shall press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, thus sayest the Father:  You shall have eternal life.

I read in a talk by Elder Richard J. Maynes a great quote on this topic.  He said:  Our ability to endure to the end in righteousness will be in direct proportion to the strength of our testimony and the depth of our conversion.

It is my hope that as we progress through these crazy times that we can all return to our ward family and draw strength from one another and help each other on our journey of endurance back to our Heavenly Parents.  Can't wait to see you all again and shake your hands!!
