Did you think to pray?

Brothers and sisters,

As I was pondering about prayer one day I was automatically thinking about the hymn did you think to pray. If you have a chance just read it from the hymn book or your tablet wherever you can find it.

We all need that tender connection we get as we kneel before our father in humble prayer and pray through our mediator Jesus Christ. They love us and need to hear from us in good times as well as in struggles and hardships. We can receive guidance and direction and the heavens can be open to us for ourselves and for our families. Prayer is a wonderful gift. I know that sometimes we get lackadaisical with it and repetitive and sometimes we just want to hurry and get it done with so we can eat or go on our way. Life gets busy but always try to stay connected with our heavenly father. Those are just some thoughts that I had this week that I wanted to share with you. I miss you all and hope that we will be able to reunite soon at church and in the holy temples. I love you all, hope you're all doing well and God be with you. Love Cindy Bishop
