Brother Colby Neilson
Bishopric Second Counselor
In my profession, preparation is vital to providing a quality educational experience for my students. There are times where my preparation hasn't been as fully complete as maybe it could have been and therefore, I felt a little inadequate with my lesson being a bit sub par and nervous that I may have not given my all. Also, the best days' experience has come when I have spent the time to adequately prepare my lesson. I feel confident as I have assured my students that I am giving my best. When I am prepared, I do not fear. I am doing all I can for my students. I enjoyed listening to the speakers of General Conference. Saturday, President Nelson reminded us about our spiritual preparation and that if we are prepared, we shall not fear what is to come. We can be confident knowing that, as we are doing our best to live as we should, what is to come will not deter our faith.
Our living prophet President Russell M Nelson has repeatedly asked us to improve our ability to have the spirit in our lives.
I testify of the truthfulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. President Nelson is a true and living Prophet of our Savior Jesus Christ. The Book of Mormon contains truth!
May we all do our best to prepare ourselves so that we may be confident in all that we do.
Thank you for all you do,
Bro. Neilson
