Brother Thad Jackson
Sunday School Second Counselor
Brothers and Sisters,
In this time, I ended up being pretty lucky to have general conference be the week of giving a thought. My thought comes before this though. As health care workers my wife and I have been working with those in need for quite awhile. This time is no different. Luckily our contact with Covid-19 patients has been minimal. However, due too certain circumstances I was exposed to a patient with the virus. This later lead to me and my wife being tested. My heaven sent mother- in-law offered one of her most heart felt prayers. That heart felt prayer and those of other family members made a huge impact on me. Whether or not the outcome of the test would have been the same, negative, or not makes little difference. The fact of the matter is that my family heeded the voice of the Lord. "Look unto me in every thought; doubt not, fear not" D&C 6:36. Their faith helped give me the courage to have no doubt or fear regardless of the outcome of that test or this pandemic.
Yours,
Brother Jackson
