  • 7PM |TABERNACLE HOLIDAY EVENT| The Color Country Chorus will initiate our Christmas Season. They are a local Barbershop Men’s a cappella Chorus. They have been bringing good cheer and smiles to audiences for almost 40 years.

  • 7PM |TABERNACLE HOLIDAY EVENT| The EPIC Performing Company, a group of children, ages 7 to 17, are excited to present a Christmas program comprised of the music from their holiday show, “Merry & Bright.” They are directed by Brooke Hurdman.

  • 7PM |TABERNACLE HOLIDAY EVENT| Pianist and composer, Andrew Braithwaite, will share his program, “Christmas Magic.” He will play holiday arrangements, ranging from soft classics to fun mashups.

  • 7PM |BUILDING CLEANING| It is time for the 11th Ward member to help clean the building for the month of December. please meet Friday at 7PM the week you have been asked to help, if you are unable to help the week you have been asked to help please find someone to swap with for another week.   • NOON |TABERNACLE HOLIDAY EVENT| The Choral Artists of So. Nevada will return this year with their program, “Beautiful December”— they have always been inspiring! The Choral Artists are conducted by Marsha Borovicka and accompanied by Allison Olson.

  • 7PM |TABERNACLE HOLIDAY EVENT| Ed Tracey, a gifted vocalist, will team up with Tami Creamer, an amazing accompanist, to present some of their holiday favorites.

  • MONDAY, DECEMBER 12, 2022 AT 6 PM – 8 PM | 3rd Annual Neighborhood Food Drive | Hosted by The Frogley's 587 E Springhill Dr. Come join us for our 3rd Annual neighborhood Food Drive to help families in our community this holiday season! We will have some hot chocolate and cookies, as well as a fire or two, and good company to go around. Please bring non-perishable food items to donate to The Utah Food Bank, and spread the word!

Tours of the Tabernacle are free to the public. This amazing opportunity will allow you to explore how the Lord teaches through symbols, parables, and figurative language.   • Tuesday, December 6th, volunteers are needed to work various shifts for our Stake day |OLD TESTAMENT TABERNACLE VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY| Washington Stake is responsible to fill ALL the tour shifts & security shifts for the Tabernacle project for the entire 24 hour day. The following volunteer shifts are needed:

    1. Tabernacle Volunteers YOUTH PREFERRED: The first set of volunteers are the Tabernacle tour volunteers. It is preferred that these time and shift slots be filled by Youth (11-18). If youth cannot staff these times and locations, then we ask that YSA students serve next, and lastly adults.

    2. Visitor Center Guides: The next set of volunteers are for Visitor Center Guides. These slots can be filled with either youth or adults.

      1. Greeters: Will help patrons sign in, keep a count of patrons in attendance, and help them get assigned to a video room.

      2. Rooms 1A and 1B: These volunteers will show a 10-minute video prior to visitors entering the Tabernacle.

      3. Ushers: Ushers will be placed at various stations outside and inside to keep the flow going and to help patrons get to where they are needed.

      4. Check-in coordinator for Volunteers: This person will be checking in the volunteers as they arrive.

      5. Event Security (24/7): We will need two people onsite for security 24/7. Each shift will be 4-hours and will begin at 9:00am on our assigned day and end at 9:00AM THE FOLLOWING day.
