Hi Brothers and Sisters,I miss you all so much and I can't wait til we can get back to our meetings. I want to share something I've been doing these past few weeks that has increased my testimony so much. I got the idea HERE:
and I'm trying to do what President Nelson has done, which is, reading and marking over 2200 verses about Jesus Christ. What I did was print out the topical guide for "Jesus Christ". This gives me all the scriptures about him throughout all the books. I'm also trying to do it within a short amount of time, about 2 months, "to appreciate the complementary nature of the learnings to be found in the Old Testament, the Book of Mormon, the New Testament, and the Doctrine and Covenants." I agree with President Nelson that "Joseph Smith wouldn’t have possibly had time to correlate and cross-reference with the Bible at the rapid rate at which he was translating the Book of Mormon—but it’s all here!" I love the scriptures so much! They teach me but they also uplift my spirit. I'm grateful to those that have gone before us and provided us with this incredible record. I love the Gospel, and through this form of scripture study, I am increasing my love for Jesus Christ in ways I couldn't have comprehended.
