The Red Cross is always in critical need of blood donations and especially at this time - due to the ongoing situation with COVID-19!
BONUS: All donors will get FREE TESTING by the Red Cross for the COVID-19 antibody!! It may take up to 10 days for results, but a FREE test for all donors!
Please note the following rules requested by the Red Cross:
Face Masks at Blood Drives. In accordance with updated CDC guidelines, donors will be asked to wear face masks at blood drives or donation centers. We encourage donors to wear their own face mask/covering that covers both their nose and mouth in accordance with CDC guidelines. If a donor does not have a mask, the Red Cross will provide one. If a donor does not want to wear a mask, they ask that they postpone their blood donation for a later date.
Temperature check. Those arriving will have their temperature checked upon arrival. If anyone is over 99.5 degrees, they won't be able to donate. There will be hand sanitizer at all stations, and all equipment, equipment, beds, chairs, computers, etc. is regularly wiped down with disinfectant.
Scheduled Appointments. To help manage donor flow and social distancing at blood drives, appointments are highly encouraged. Walk-ins will not be accepted.
No Guests at Blood Drives. Guests will not be able to attend your blood drive (e.g. babies, children or teens, unless teen is donating blood). Only those donating blood will be allowed inside.
Refreshment Items. Any provided refreshment items will be pre-packaged only (e.g. no pizza, open box donuts, homemade items, etc.).
