Is it too early to sing HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Some students at school where I work were being silly as they were walking down the hall the other day, laughing as they sang HAPPY NEW YEAR . I thought to myself, I sure hope it's a happier new year than what we have had. That got me thinking about how life has been different these last couple of months, the hard things to get used to, the inconveniences, differing opinions etc.......
Then I began to wonder if our New Year Resolutions (if we make any) will be a bit more fine tuned. Will they still include losing weight, being more organized and so on, Or will they have more love and understanding attached to them? Love more, serve more, have more quiet moments of reflection on our Savior Jesus Christ, even changing things is our lives so we can feel more happiness.
We need to learn how we Hear Him, Our Savior in this busy world.
Happy New Year! is going to be whatever we decide to make it.
