Youth Conference - I am a Child of God
All youth 14 years and older
Campout Dates: July 8-10th
Departure Time: 6:00AM
(Meet at the the church at 5:45AM in your church clothes)
Return Time: Approximately 3:00PM on Saturday
Camp Site: Cherry Hills Resort (Layton, Ut)
Always come prepared for warm or cold weather. Be sure to check the weather forecast prior to the campout and pack accordingly. Remember: Be Prepared.
The following is a suggested list of personal items for each individual:
Family names for the temple (if you have them)
Temple Recommend
Clothes for the trip
Pajamas
Beach towel
Scriptures
Cot, Air Mattress, or Foam
Sleeping Bag
Pillow
Toiletries: toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, towel, etc...
Hat/Cap
Flashlight w/extra batteries
WATER BOTTLE - easy to refill
Swimming Suit (modest)
Sunscreen
Camp Chair
Optional Weather Gear - (needed based on weather conditions)
Sunglasses
Poncho or Rain Jacket
Coat/Hoodie/Jacket
Extra Blanket
**All youth attending should be responsible for using this checklist to make sure they have everything and then packing it themselves.
*** Items are subject to getting wet and/or damaged. Don't bring anything valuable.

5:45am Meet at the church & Depart for the Temple (45min - hour)
7:00am Baptisms for the Dead/Service Project for those not doing Baptism
8:30am Change clothes for Service Project/Travel
9:00am Breakfast: Priests Prep and clean up
10:30am Travel to SLC: This is the Place Monument
11:30am Lunch at Fillmore Park (HS YW Class prep & clean up)
Noon: Travel to This is the Place
2:30pm This is the Place Activities
5:30pm Travel to Cherry Hill Resort
6:30pm Dinner (Teachers Prep & clean up)
7:00pm Check In, set up camp/Free Time
9:00pm Fireside - Bishop Keeler
9:30pm Free Time (Quiet time is at 10pm)
10:30pm Lights Out - Bedtime
Friday:
7:00am Wake up and Prepare for the day
8:00am Personal Study Time
8:30am Breakfast (MS YW Class prep & clean up)
9:00am Group Study Time (Groups assigned with HS YW & Priest in charge)
10:00am Group Meeting: Hand out T-shirts, review expectations, guidelines for the resort, etc...)
10:30am Water Resort Opens: Play at Cherry Hills Resort
12-1pm Lunch Served
Afternoon (1-6:30pm) Play at Cherry Hills Resort
7:00pm Dinner (Priests prep & clean up)
8:00pm Free Time
9:00pm Testimony Meeting
10:00pm Quiet Time
10:30pm Lights Out
Saturday:
